QUESTION
------------------------------------------------------ How can I access my email accounts when I am out of town using someone else's computer? Thanks, ANSWER ------------------------------------------------------ You can use a web browser like internet explorer or firefox. http://yourdomain/webmail will take you to a login page.There please enter your full email address and its password. Out of the options, select the one you would like after a couple of trials.

Hi Bulent,
While I like your suggestion, for those who like to use full featured emailing, there are some better options. The one, best option (In my ever-so-humble opinion) is the portable version of Thunderbird. I've actually pretty much moved all my accounts from Outlook (the one I actually paid for) to Thunderbird specifically because of it's portability. You can run the app from a usb key, and if you need to refer to previously sent or received messages, they're all available. The one catch is that you need to set up smtp service if you are on a server other than your own, but this is *usually* not that difficult. That being said, Bulent, I think you neglected to address the email options for those using Windows hosting, they may not have the same access. In that case, you would have to go to http://mail.yourdomain Ray

Hi Ray;
Yes i have forgotten to mention for those on WIndows .NET they should use the http://mail.domainname For www.raydube.com it would be http://mail.raydube.com Also i do recommend the email client software called the Bat. It can be downloaded through http://www.ritlabs.com/en/products/thebat/ It also has an option to run by the USB Key. The best feature in my opinion is the ability to list the emails and decide what to download and what to delete on the server. So, you delete the emails even before they reach your computer. It also saves the emails to a folder and moving to another PC is as easy as copying the folder to the new PC. They do have backup and restore option too but for my emails it takes a lot of time. I prefer copying files.
